"Pinocchio's Alien Cousin"

Film: The Man from Planet X (1951)

Alias: None

Type: Alien

Location: Civilized area

Height/Weight: About half as large as an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: There's a good chance that when you screw up and doom your whole world, you're gonna take it out on other worlds. Planet X was headed for extinction, so the best option was to alienate any potential intergalactic helpers. Right?

History: The residents of the simply dubbed "Planet X" were on the verge of dying out. Turns out, they had been screwing with their planet's gravity, sending it out of orbit and careening towards an area close to Earth. Seeing the blue planet as a great do-over, they sent a lone scout to kickstart the invasion at the Scottish lands. Unfortunately for him, the scout seemed to be something of an idiot who forgot to operate his gear properly, so he got taken by humans. Fortunately for him, he was able to amass an army of controlled slaves shortly afterwards.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After getting his gear messed with for the umpteenth time, the alien manages to get back to his ship, only to have it blown up by people, killing him. Planet X is doomed.

Powers/Abilities: The alien is equipped with a ray gun (that it never uses), and seems to be able to control people into doing its bidding.

Weakness: Anything conventional, especially the atmosphere itself.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-Not only does the alien accomplish next to nothing, but his appearance is utterly silly with the beak-nose and short stature, and he never uses his weapons at all.

Trivia: -The beeping noises the aliens uses as communication would later be used as a plot point in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind".

-"Invaders From Mars", "The Thing from Another World", and "The War of the Worlds" all began production around this film's release.

"Haunt" is using the term loosely.

Admit it. That man is desperately trying not to laugh.

Guess women are into that sort of thing.

Somebody should talk to him about the shape of his ship.

I haven't seen a fight this brutal since two miners fought over a pick-axe.
Really? We just got past the Alien Plant Humanoid.
